Do it.

It could be a hike along a rarely used trail or a 500km bike ride on the solstice. My art is inspired, and created through a dichotomy of adventure (pushing my physical capabilities in the love of the outdoors) and the images I gather along the way.

See it.

Capturing images along the way, that will be later translated onto the canvas. The acuity of the work is derived from the field research and Images gathered through the adventure, from the vistas to individual rocks, mushrooms, trees and wildlife. Your surroundings are always alive.

Paint it.

The Studio Is where I reflect on the journey, melding the images with my perception of the activity. Suffering, elation or what ever it may be. Drawing on my feeling within the landscape and all that surrounded me during the activity. I also have a penchant for hiding the critters who I interact with in my art.
